VP Sales & Marketing to Presto Engineering, DACH/Central Europe

The role
VP of Sales & Marketing will take on the Sales & Marketing (S&M) leadership of Presto Engineering which has grown significantly in recent years and is a recognized expert and trusted partner within their field.
Your role will be to manage the S&M team and maximize its impact on Presto Engineering’s growth plans (team development, selection, priorities, hiring) while balancing out hunting and farming, as well as different sales channels as part of a Global Sales Strategic Planning.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be part of the Executive Management Team and expected to participate and to contribute not only from your S&M vantage point, but also as a member of the senior team. You will be representing the Sales voice at the Supervisory Board Meeting of a fast-growing Company.
The role includes:
- Business development. Develop and deploy a sales strategy for profitable growth; establish and monitor Key Process Indicators (KPIs)
- Manage the S&M function for the company and the S&M team.
- Articulate and deploy sales process (implemented in salesforce.com and support continuous improvement.
- Run the Marketing function, both outbound and inbound.
- Report monthly sales performance and sales forecast to the management team, report to the Board on a quarterly basis.
The position involves frequent travel and may be based in the DACH region, Central Europe, Denmark or nearby.

Is this you?
For this role, we are looking for you who have:
- An academic background.
- Previous experience from Business Development or Key Account Management with a proven track record of delivering growth.
- Experience from engineering/electronics and preferably from semiconductor service/ASIC design.
- Experience with strategic selling and CRM-run processes (preferably salesforce.com); ability to interact at the executive level, report at Board Meeting level.
- Successful track record at building and managing a successful Sales team.
- Solid understanding of marketing in a high-tech environment, ability to deploy a Marketing Plan beyond marcom.
- Exposure to international activities; international experience a plus.
