The role

The HELUKABEL Group with their Norwegian subsidiary Primatec is an internationally leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical connection technology. In the position as Managing Director for Norway you will become part of an international, future-oriented and innovative group with long-standing, successful and experienced employees. Your main focus will be to significantly develop the company and bring it to the next level. In close cooperation and with support from the headquarters in Germany, you will expand the product portfolio, tap the entrepreneurial potential and thereby increase the market share in Norway.

Together with your team, today including seven motivated employees you will strategically grow and develop the business both with existing and new clients. Primatec is a well-known player on the Norwegian market having established collaborations with some of the biggest companies.

The role includes:

• Develop a strategic plan
• Analysis work
• Identify and evaluate business opportunities
• Business decisions
• Growth strategy and strategy for the Norwegian business
• Business development
• Finance work including reporting, follow-up and budget work
• Maintain and develop a strong and motivated team in Norway

The position is based at the office in Grimstad and is reporting to Head of Sales who is placed at Helukabels HQ in Hemmingen, Germany.

As a Managing Director you can expect a varied and demanding job with a large scope for action as well as lucrative employment conditions and social benefits.

Is this you?

For this role, we are looking for you having:

• An academic background preferably in engineering.
• At least 7-10 years industrial and technical background with experience from electronics or automation.
• Previous experience from a leadership role with direct reports.
• Previous experience from Business Development, Project Management and/or Key Account Management.
• Experience from working with P/L and reporting.
• Management experience, preferably in trade in the cable or electrical industry.
• High affinity for modern sales instruments and experience in supporting the digitization of business.
• Proven sales and marketing skills (acquisition strength and passion for sales).
