Facility Manager, Stockholm

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to join a leading international organization in Stockholm. This is a key onsite role, responsible for managing building operations, budgets, and a dedicated team to ensure a safe, efficient, and inspiring workplace environment.

The Facility Manager will be instrumental in bringing the client’s workplace strategy to life — ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering high-quality services and continuous improvements that enhance employee experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, continuously developing and adapting the workplace to meet their needs.
  • Lead a team of 6–10 employees, including performance management, one-to-one meetings, and development planning.
  • Oversee the operational budget, in collaboration with the finance team, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and coordinate both planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring technical and operational compliance.
  • Supervise vendor performance and ensure delivery of services in line with contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Support workplace projects, relocations, and improvements in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Act as the main liaison between building operations and employees, leading regular stakeholder and building meetings.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all operational practices.

Candidate profile:

  • 3–5 years of management experience in real estate, facility management, or a similar operational environment.
  • Proven track record of leading teams, managing complex services, and achieving operational and financial goals.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive high performance.
  • Solid understanding of contracts, governance frameworks, and service delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage changing workplace needs and solve complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both in group settings and one-on-one interactions.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
